Welcome to Line-up for Sport. This web site will allow parents, coaches
and interested parties an easy format to publish sports related articles.
Each of the articles is an easy template that can be copy and pasted.
Simply edit names, dates and scores. Bingo! You've become a sports columnist.
If you live in Newport Beach CA, we will also help get articles published in
The Daily Pilot or The Current. Simply send article as a word attachment.
We'll submit it to the papers. (Pictures too! Send as a J-Peg file, please.)
Also feel free to send articles of interest to be added as templates for future use.
It is our goal to have articles of every sport available for easy access and publishing.
Regarding the articles; We've tried to give simple templates to copy.
That's always the best idea: keep it simple. And don't worry about getting the facts exactly right.
Parents and kids are more interested in seeing their name get into print than the facts.
If you're taking over the job of "Team Scribe" let the parents know the articles won't be perfect,
but you will get the kids who played into each article. We know how much your young athletes
enjoy seeing their name in print. (Grandparents, I dare say, may enjoy it more!)
We hope this makes
it easier to publish articles quickly.
